Competitive Irish Dance
The competitive teams at MSID have the opportunity to compete in many competitions throughout the year.
Louise is a certified Irish Dance Teacher (TCRG) & Ceili Dance Teacher (TMRF) with the organization Rince Tuatha Nua, which is affiliated with Cumann Rince Dea Mheasa in Ireland. A Feis (Pronounced FESH & Gaelic term for festival) is where dancers have the opportunity to compete against dancers from multiple schools. Dancers have the option to attend as little or as many feiseanna as they choose. Since Irish dancing is all individual dancing (with the exception of our ceili teams), you can select how involved you would like to be.
All competitive dancers must have at least 1 year of Irish dance experience & are invited to join our competitive program.
Please contact Louise if you are interested in having your child participate.
- Petite Team

- All Team members are required to take a minimum of 2 classes per week (1 being their assigned team class in addition to one other Irish dance class). However, if you wish to pursue Irish dance more seriously, we have classes offered daily for all ages & abilities.
Age and ability is used to determine proper placement of each child.
